Just want to share something I’ve observed in our community. I know a few people who are consistent gamblers, yet they also work really hard. It seems like gambling actually pushes them to hustle more, because they need money to fuel their gambling activities.
I don't think so. They are getting weaker and have no desire to find alternative jobs that match their passions. They make gambling their main source of income. The reason is that they are bored or reluctant to do heavy physical work. Many people tend to spend their money rather than increase their income. This often happens in my country. In addition, there are currently many online gambling sites created specifically to attract people to deposit money. They offer initial profits, but customers always end up losing. This case has even been reported in my country with the title “Gambling operators report losses due to members creating new accounts repeatedly.”
It is a major mistake to rely on gambling, as I have observed that many people are losing their assets to cover their online gambling activities. They suffer losses and accumulate debt, forcing them to sell their land or homes to settle their debts. Perhaps treating gambling as entertainment is the best way to avoid greater losses. This means that controlling one's emotions is the best choice.
