Just want to share something I’ve observed in our community. I know a few people who are consistent gamblers, yet they also work really hard. It seems like gambling actually pushes them to hustle more, because they need money to fuel their gambling activities.

In their case, they’ve been gambling for years, but they’re still responsible with work, so I don’t see it as pure irresponsibility. Their motivation might be different, but they’re still putting in the effort, even if the end goal is just to fund their gambling.

So how do you see this kind of lifestyle? Do you judge them as wrong because their reason is gambling, or do you respect it since everyone has their own way of finding happiness?
I don't think it is gambling that is pushing them to hustle for their daily living i will they are working to they can be independent and also without asking any one for money before they can gamble or selling property to gamble, i will say these are responsible gamblers.
surely i agree with you that they are working very hard to be independent, because if gambling was pushing them to gamble then they would have become an addict and possibly they might not even work any longer because all their hope would have been focused on gambling to become wealthy. so its obvious that they dont want to be lazy guys who beg money for everything including gambling. they just want to be working and taking care of their family and still gambling at the same time  as a fun, who knows they might be lucky to hit a big multiplier someday and that ends their suffering.
