I really like Osaka's story. She has overcome many hardships with mental health issues and so on. And also people shouldn't forget, she got a child only 2 years ago. Being back on the tour after such a short time off is amazing . I hope she can go further in this one because I really believe she totally deserves it. Also obviously she is very likable and humble, which makes it even easier to root for her.
Yeah, unfortunately, our favorite was booted out already. She has a good chance to win against Anisimova. But Anisimova was really big in the tie break and she forces Naomi to make a lot of mistakes in those crucial stretch in the second set, and again, I thought that Osaka has this game in the bag.
