Patience is important in life so that people can think things through before making decisions but there are times in life when you need to make quick decisions.
That's true. Patience is crucial, but it depends on the situation. IMO, applying it in gambling is a different thing since it's not about how patient you are to wait for a good result. Because in gambling, if there's an opportunity to take profit, just grab it and don't hesitate.
Continuing to play doesn't give an assurance that you'll end up winning, instead, it's just a hope that you might be right to wait and be patient. But in life, it's better to be certain rather than be greedy and ignore what's in front of you already.
I like the opinion that you said about grabbing the opportunity when things favoring your side, if you got a good hit better to take that money out from the house and enjoy your earnings, it's better to take advantage than continuing and patiently waiting for more, though same with you, in general, we do need patience as rushing things out may risk our opportunities.
It's always better to have that patience as there are times that rushing your decision may implict the potential and may risk your opportunity to succeed.
