Re: How quickly do you forget a loss

Personally, money doesn't move me so much, so I let go almost immediately in most losing cases. But I do not pray that I experience such useless days that I will be so emotional and lose too much that I can bear, it's senseless. Well, that was nature's difference. Our minds vary.

Whether it's your nature or not, the factor that should be considered is the financial status of the gambler. If the gambler earns regularly, has multiple streams of income, or is rich altogether, the ability to heal from the loss-induced hurt will be quicker than for the person who is either poor or has little.

Of course, it all depends on how much money a person has, and what percentage their gambling losses constitute in relation to their total assets. If it's a small fraction, then it's easy to get over it and forget about it. But even in this case, a person might perceive losing money as their personal defeat, and therefore take it hard.
I still remember some losses that i really haven't gotten over, not like they were huge amounts but they were rare cases of near suuccess syndrome, i was very close to winning, and the reason why it turned into an unforgetable experience is the fact that i was given some good amount to cash out, but i turned them down and still ended up losing the whole thing, such losses are pretty hard to forget or move on from.
