Allegri's return to AC Milan has brought optimism and belief amongst players like Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao who have praised his ability to create a positive team atmosphere and defensive balance. Allegri's past records of inheriting challenging situations like this and delivering positive results raises my belief that he will succeed at AC Milan even if it will take time.
Allegri is a successful coach on the Serie A platform. He has won many titles with Juventus. And since Allegri left Juventus, we have seen the decline in Juventus' performance. We have seen the irregular and weak performance of AC Milan for the last few years. Despite having a fairly strong squad, their performance is weak. This season they have got a great coach like Allegri. Even then, if Milan cannot perform well, then it is definitely their failure. And if Milan's performance is weak this season, they should make big changes in the squad.
Allegri failed when he last coached Juventus before leaving for Milan, so I won't overestimate or set high expectations for them. I think anything is still possible for AC Milan this season. Although AC Milan fans have welcomed Allegri enthusiastically, I'm still realistic.
Competition in Serie A is tough. Several teams have improved their performance, which poses both a threat and a challenge for Allegri.
