You missed the point, i said it's declining for everyone but x group is still higher from all other groups. See this study : https://www.pewresearch.org/religion/2021/09/21/religious-composition-of-india/
But muslims are down from 4.4 to 2.1 while others are down from 3.0 to 1.9 means Muslims are decline faster means opposite of what you are predicting, isn't it?


The fertility rate is definitely falling for everyone in India but I guess the birth rate is still increasing for the above group of people.
This means that the number of muslim population in India will increase in the future when compare to others.
It is a concerning fact because as JSRAW mentioned "one should remember what happens when some group reach 30-35% of total population or become majority."
