His now serving a jail term in his country Brazil after been found guilty of a crime he once committed while still playing for the Italian giant club AC Milan. CNN Brazil says his now a coach in prison and his currently managing a team in the internal tournament organised by the penitentiary.

ESPN news “the court ruling by majority of judges on a Brazilian court decided to uphold an Italian court's rape conviction adding that the former Ac Milan and Brazil striker must serve a nine-year prison sentence in Brazil, however his lawyers want to appeal and want the ex player to be out of prison for the time until after the appeal verdict is announced.”
