It's true that the season has just begun, so it's quite natural to see the performance of the big teams has declined a bit... just look at how Barcelona at the beginning of this season was quite difficult to get more points, they were even held to a draw by Rayo, and also Atletico Madrid who is currently in a pretty bad condition, slumped to the bottom of the rankings due to not winning a single match.
These big teams are clearly having trouble organizing their game, but that doesn’t mean this will be the final picture of the season, usually big clubs have the capacity to bounce back and find their rhythm as the competition progresses. So I see these big teams coming back to the top once they get their game together.

Barcelona performance has dropped this season compared to last season. There's too much selfishness in their game now, players chase individual awards over team victories which team success should be their primary goal. I believe they still have that ability to play like they did last season, but they need to change their mindset and work together as a team.
In their last game, Barcelona was unable to maintain the lead and ended up in draws because they truly missed Inigo Martinez at center back, which led Hansi flick to make bad rotations from that defense. They were even lucky to end up in a draw because they deserved to lose.
Although I am confident that Atletico Madrid will recover as well, but I am not pleased with their starting performance, because if f La Liga is competitive like the Premier League, Atletico Madrid will need to fight hard and struggle before they can reach the top, which may not even be possible in some cases.
