Victor Boniface was not called up for this international break this is not unconnected to his present state as you know he is not too fit as he failed a medical in AC Milan even though he made a final minute move to weirder Bremen , I don't think that he is too fit for this crucial world cup qualifiers so the coach did the right thing by not calling him up for this games.
Do you think Victor Boniface will be called upon after he announced his retirement 12 weeks ago, following the Super Eagles' friendly match with Russia? We even talked about Victor Boniface's retirement from international football on this thread. It's like you weren't aware, for you to think that he will be called upon after making it known to the whole world that he is done with international football.

Victor Boniface and AC Milan; AC Milan wasn't serious about signing Victor because if they were serious about signing him, not passing a medical test wouldn't be the only reason to reject him from Bayern. Thank God, Victor made his way to another within a short time of AC Milan's rejection
Victor Boniface hasn't really had much impact on the team's performance since his first national team call up, we all expected him Osimhen to take the team on their shoulders but Boniface didn't really do much for us and left Osimhen to take all the responsibility. Announcing his retirement so early is a bit weird to me, I don't see a reason why he would choose to leave so soon but whatever his reasons are I still think it's selfish and unserious of him. I don't think he has much respect for the country else he won't have done so. Osimhen had issues with the National team management once and still that didn't stop him from giving his best for the Nation. I think Osimhen is a true leader.

AC Milan have their reasons and it might not really be due to fitness. I just blame the player for not taking care of himself while playing actively. Imagine at his age he is moving forward Leverkusen to Werder Bremen with such quality. I think that's really poor but everyone has their different journey.
