From my experience in Bitcoin investment I have come to realize that it is an asset that is best to hold on the long term. So far you understand that Bitcoin has the potentials to always increase and reach ATH after dip you should focus on the long term for guaranteed profits.

If you are not a trader that understands the risk of buying and selling on the short term it is better to invest for the long term. If you invest with the intention of making profit on a specific short term and when that time reaches then Bitcoin happen to dip bellow the price that you bought, it will be an unprofitable venture. Example is what we are experiencing now, some short term investors that perhaps bought at $120k and planing to take profit on 27th august, will be disappointed. Another disadvantage is that you can panic and sell at a loss believing that it will dump again instead of leaving it for the long term to appreciate again.

For peace of mind buy and hodl for a long term atleast for two bull circles you will be sure that whatever price will be then you will be in profit. DCA method is recommendable for income earners, buy with a percentage of your income and hold for the long term.

I agree with you, and that’s why chasing short-term profits is very dangerous, because we don’t know what tomorrow holds. Many people try to time the market to buy when the price is going up, thinking it will keep rising, or entering when it’s falling, hoping to get profit when it bounces back. But that’s not how smart investors do, and anyone who focused only on quick profits will end up losing money.

Of course, the best strategy when investing in Bitcoin is to use the DCA method and hold for the long term. For example, if someone plans to hold for 4 to 10 years, they won’t panic when the market drops below their expectations. In fact, many traders will lost money when Bitcoin was around $120k because they chased short-term profits, believing the price would keep going higher. Consistency is very important, if we stick to the long-term plan and keep holding, the future will be far better than anything we could gain from chasing quick profit.
