The point I want to share is we should manage our expectations when playing games where we don’t have an edge. That way if we lose, it’s easier to move on. And if we happen to get lucky, like I did, the feeling of victory is even sweeter.

Anyone who plays slots and then starts having high hopes or huge expectations is already in for a great disappointment, because slot is purely luck based and whatever the system gives you is what you’ll get there’s no way to maneuver around it or change the outcome of a spin.

I like the fact that you acknowledged slots to be a bankroll killer and since you already knew and just went there probably to get your account drained so you can call gambling a quit for the day but then got lucky, that’s why you were extremely happy, if you had gone there with high expectations you won’t be too happy, you might even want to push yourself more so you can get even more from that session.
