Only Manchester United fans who are yet to conduct proper checks on the player would openly bash him. He is by far better than Andrea Onana and Emiliano Martinez statistically. And why are you focused on his errors?! He's only caused 5 errors leading to goal which is actually lesser than whatever Andrea Onana did. Lammens will thrive for Manchester United. I have not seen his games close up and not a fan of compilations but he is a good upgrade to Bayindir and Onana.
Manchester United fans should not be concerned about the comparison between Senne Lammens and Emiliano Martinez. They should just be glad that they have gotten a good goalker with better statistics than the current two they have. In terms of save percentage and passing accuracy, Lammens is better than Andre Onana. He had made 173 saves in the 2024/2025 season, which is more than all the saves made by goalkeepers in all the top leagues in Europe. The Red Devils have solved their goalkeeping problems but it will take a solid defence to make him effective. I heard Onana is getting interest from the Turkish side, Fenerbahce and Saudi-based club Al Nassr? Maybe Altay Bayindir should stay back and build his confidence. He might end up becoming a good goalkeeper.
There are rumors that Andre Onana will transfer to Trabzonspor in Türkiye. Trabzonspor isn't a very high-quality team, and there might be better options for Onana. He could achieve much greater success with many other teams in Europe.
The same goes for Altay Bayındır; I think Galatasaray should have evaluated this player and added him to the team. But they signed Uğurcan Çakır. This year we have seen many interesting transfers of quality goalkeepers
