Well what you said here is true because looking at what psg displayed at the day of the final it was unexpected and I believe many people were shocked. After psg scored there second goal in that match inter Milan lost all confidence and that was the beginning of there losing. However it is not an easy thing to qualify for champions League final, inter Milan has quality players but I don't really know what happened if it was over confidence. Depesite that they lost , I believe they have gathered experience that will really help them this season. All they need is just to restratigise there pattern of play.
Inter Milan defeat in the Champions League final proves that winning is not only determined by the quality of the players, but also by having a winning mentality, which will boost the confidence of each player. We can see that in the match, after PSG scored a goal, the confidence of Inter Milan players wavered slightly, making it difficult to create a counterattacking momentum to even the score.
Besides quality the coach's decisions during the match are also crucial. Enrique knew what to do in the final to undermine the opponent's confidence, and PSG successfully did that last season. Furthermore PSG were on fire with every player, which facilitated their play in the final. Mentally Inter's is unquestionable even before they reached the final they impressively defeated Barcelona with a comeback. This proves that Inter and PSG's mentality was similar last season with the only difference being the coach's experience in making decisions during the match.
However this season it seems very difficult for Inter to repeat the same success as last season because the coach has changed. This is evident in their weak defense and their performance which is also very different from last season which resulted in their defeat to Udinese at home.
