Since gambling shouldn't even be considered as a means of generating money then people should give more attention to stuffs that generates money and put food on the table, like work and investment.
If gamblers can think this way then they won't be having any problems with gambling but we don't have gamblers thinking this way instead we have them thinking in the opposite direction. Gamblers are always after how they can make money and not thinking about the things that they're doing wrongly and it's taking money away from them. Gambling comes with greediness for most gamblers because there isn't a way they'll be doing something that's giving them some money and then we expect them not to get greedy and wants to make more money. When they do this is when they begin to have things in common with others that tried something similar but regretted.
