From the historical perspective, Kun Khalifat has not won Remo Stars in any of their plays so I see that last Sunday match between Remo Stars vs Kun Khalifat should not be used to determine the good performance of Remo Stars in this season. We all know that Remo Stars is the defending team in the league but their performance in this season is different from last season.
Remo Stars was dominating in the league from beginning to the end in last season and not like this that they are struggling to take 4th position.
Bayelsa United was almost relegated from the super nation league last season but now they are in the top and they are not relenting but continue to strive and strike.
The season had just started, and just two matches had been played. We can't use the match played so far to begin to draw conclusions about teams that could perform well and poorly, when there are many matches to be played, for teams to improve themselves or perform worse than they have.

Bayelsa United have won two of their matches. What of the rest of the matches that are to be played? Will they grab all the points of the 38 match that will make them keep leading in the NFL table without dropping points for other Nigerian league teams to take over the top spot? That's the question to ask yourself because the two matches played so far are nothing to judge about other teams because there is enough time to recover, appear top of the table, or fall below
although I have not been following up this particular league but the truth is when it comes to football how a team start the season doesn't matter, what matters is how the team end the season, a team can start a season with good performance and end up dropping in performance after playing five to six matches do some key players that might have got injured, because in every team there are keys player's and if anything called injury come happen to two to three key players of a team the team performance will drop over time. So how a team start the season doesn't matter, what matters the most is how a team end the season, even a team that start the season may even end up not been in top 10 in the table.
I agree with you definitely on this because football is one funny thing a team can actually start the season well by winning the the initial stages of the competition but situations like injuries and lack of form can make such teams to struggle and even get relegated, while a team that started the season on a struggling Note can pick form at the cause of the season.

So we should not define the outcome of a team by the initial performance that they do in the start of the season we should wait until the season gets to at least middle before judging.
