I would have love to see Reuben Amorim struggle to win matches at Manchester United so that you will see what I am talking about, but I won't wish Ruben Amorim that because I want the glory days to return to Manchester United so that they can challenge for the premier League title and champions league trophy. The fact that Bayer Leverkusen management sold their best players to other clubs, they will continue to struggle this season even with a new coach.
This is actually what Dortmund team usually does every season but they still get to finish in top four of the league standings, and no much complain about the choice of coach. I think Bayern Leverkusen biggest mistake was selling the coach, selling all the best players they had and not having backup like some other young players from their academy coming to replace this players. I don’t know what good signings they made with that lots of money they made from selling players. It is a shame to see them fall this big after rising up the ranks in the Bundesliga. They should learn better from Dortmund how to make their club a profitable venture without losing their good performance.
In my opinion, the management of Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund is very different.
Dortmund is far more experienced in managing players and developing their talent, and all of this requires the support of the board of directors to achieve a profitable business.
So, everything that's happening to Bayer right now is actually a mistake on everyone's part. Selling their best players when they've lost a capable coach is one of their biggest mistakes.
Now, Bayer must start from scratch, finding the right coach and reliable players, which takes a very long time.
