But you are not alone in thinking this way. The truth is, people see it as an asset because it acts like one. Its value fluctuates wildly, which makes it a terrible currency for buying a cup of coffee. No one wants to spend 0.0001 BTC on something that could be worth a thousand dollars in a few years. However, if no one wants to sell their Bitcoin, who do we buy it from? Can it still be a valuable asset without a market?
