Afghanistan and United Arab Emirates played a very competitive match today. Although this match was only a participation match, the United Arab Emirates team performed quite well and moved towards victory. I blame fate for not winning this match, as United Arab Emirates lost their wicket on the last ball. Where four runs were needed in three balls, the attacking batsmen of the United Arab Emirates team failed. The performance of the United team was much better than that of the Afghanistan team, although they lost, the players of the United Arab Emirates team worked hard in this match.

UAE were so close to win. It's not the fate but UAE had some very slow over while they scored more in good overs. If they were able to take more singles instead of dot on those overs, they would have won. Like the 15th over where they only made 2 runs. They lost a wicket there but losing a wicket is not a reason to score so low in late game specially in T20. Afghanistan is overall better team than UAE and they had overall better bowling as UAE gave 5 more runs on extras than Afghanistan which in the end became the score that Afgnaistan won with.
In fact 17 runs were needed to win in the last over which was very difficult to chase, but they collected 12 runs. Yes you are right UAE could not score enough runs in few overs, I would like to mention few more overs, scored only 3 runs in 10th over, scored 3 runs in 13th over and 5 runs in 16th over, here they fall behind. If they could have added a little more runs in these few overs, they wouldn't have needed so many runs in the last over. However, the UAE batsmen performed well, losing by just 5 runs. However, Afghanistan won yesterday, which they will field with confidence in the final match. UAE's preparations have been good, hopefully they can compete more in the Asia Cup.
