It's just a reasoning for him to take his losses back easily. It's always been said to gamble responsibly.
And whether that guy has money or not, I think that whichever situation he's in, he'll do this to annoy the casino and will still gamble irresponsibly.
He's not vulnerable, he's even taking advantage of the situation but no matter how hard he try, he'll lose this battle.
This is giving him the spotlight and bad reputation to himself and his family.
Many people have completely separated from their families because of gambling because when a person becomes addicted to excessive gambling, their relationship with their family starts to deteriorate. A person never thinks while gambling that if he loses in gambling, it may not be possible to recover those money in any way. Gambling is more dangerous than a serious addiction. Those who become addicted gradually become destitute.
Any addiction is harmful when it's going to cause damage to the addicted person, gambling or not and any other variants of it.
And when they can't accept their fate and defeat, they're looking for ways so that they can gamble again and try to do some scandals of recovering their losses.
