After just three games?  Grin
You guys are so strict, Lol. Manchester City's squad doesn't look that bad, by the way. If they coordinate well, that group of player can win some silverware, maybe even another Premier League. Other teams may also have stronger squads, but let's not forget that there will be a lot of factors at play as the season progresses. Injuries and even parallel tournaments like African Cup of Nations.
Nobody is twisting the fact that Manchester City still remain a better club but due to the major setbacks this season, I don't think they're ready to compete for main EPL titles. The English Premier League is mainly for the big boys and Manchester City, I'm afraid they don't belong to that category currently after following their previous performances, the Citizens just needs revival to bounce back to the top. Pep Guardiola last days at Etihad, this is how he wants to spend it? I don't think so because there have been major up and down movement and the board exercise patience, they need to see evidence of the possible growth of the club.
It's too early to say Manchester City isn't ready to compete for the Premier League title this season, Manchester City didn't start the season well but they have everything to turn things around like what happened at the end of last season even though it was too late but at least it can be a reference that the same thing is possible to happen again, so it's still early in the season and Pep Guardiola has plenty of time to fix everything and I still have a lot of faith in Pep.
Personally with what I've watched from City in this first 3 games is the lack of creativity down the middle. The void KDB left in that midfield has to be filled somehow. With Foden out injured again, they'll struggle this season.
