Not only Pep Guardiola but Manchester City as a club are beginning to lost momentum, I think it's an era coming to an end because for Manchester City to seat in such position in the beginning of a season means that something is not right some how, if I'm to be Pep Guardiola I'd take a shot break to cool off the tense.
What does taking a break mean, is stepping down as a manager? Because if that's the case, Pep Guardiola would have to pay compensation as per his contract, every manager who steps down must pay compensation to the club. That's also not a good decision because I see Pep Guardiola as still capable of managing the team, although it might be difficult to compete for the title with Liverpool. The league has only been underway for a few games, so it's still too early to judge Man City.
There's still a long way to go this season, and there are many opportunities for Man City to improve. I see only Liverpool as the only team that remains unbeaten and has managed to collect full points. Chelsea are the same, but they've drawn their only match so far, leaving them behind Liverpool at the top of the table.
