Mike Tyson just made a post on X that he signed a deal with Mayweather to have boxing fight in 2026.
Just a small reminder to everyone that Tyson will be 60 years old in 2026, and Floyd Mayweather will be 49 year old.
They are both doing this event only for money and this is going to be exhibition boxing, but Mayweather is clear favorite for me.
Obviously they are doing this event only for money. Tyson probably got paid to lose. Ever since the Jake Paul fight I have lost massive amounts of respect for Mike Tyson. I used to think that someone like Tyson would have never even considered walking into the ring with a little shit like Jake Paul and losing so obviously. He must have gotten a lot of money.
As far as this match goes, I am 100% on Mayweather.
Also, 60 years is a lot compared to 49. It might not seem much different but the human body really breaks down at that age. 49 is still not too bad compared to that.
Yeah that's it and this fight is just a show.
Tyson could possible bag $30m - $50m in this fight that's why its not surprising for him not to take this. On his last fight against Jake Paul I thought we could see more intense fight especially that he show promising performance on his practices. But what we see in real time is different and it seems that your assumption is true and he's just been paid to lost in that fight. Then that makes their fight became boring to watch.
Their upcoming fight with Mayweather is no brainer since for sure Mayweather had 100% chance to win since for sure he won't accept this exhibition fight if he will lose.
We see Mayweather is still in good shape and fight like a champion. But Tyson? I guess he don't have anything left on his bag since he moves so slow base on his last fight.
