Back in the day we were just using the major coins like Bitcoin and some altcoins - no stablecoins yet. We gambled with the price volatility too, but we liked it because it was non-regulated and gave us full freedom in gambling.
If I understand you clearly, you meant that earlier you gamble with BTC in casinos and it's dealt with strictly on the quantity deposited and the multipliers is solely based on those quantities, and they don't convert your deposits to native equivalents or stable currencies, so you're able take advantage of the volatility to maximize your profits potentials?

If so then it's not like that anymore, most casinos convert the equivalent of your deposits immediately it arrives so your deposit remains the same amid volatility concerns.

So that’s my question, are they killing the crypto edge we enjoyed before?
It's a win win situation, they're trying to minimize the possibility of them losing when there is a decline in Bitcoin price and the gambler too. Imagine depositing $100 worth of Bitcoin and waking up the next day to gamble and it's now worth $80 due to volatility.
