Did you mean hedge against inflation or what edge did you mean?
You can still gamble with bitcoin and other altcoins. I will not be surprised if bitcoin is still massively used by gamblers today. But if there is something you enjoy about unstable coins in gambling, you can still use them.
That edge is definitely what we’ve been fighting for when we support Bitcoin or crypto in general. Back in the early days, we were so hyped that with crypto casinos we could gamble without KYC, and that alone was already a huge edge over fiat casinos.
But over time that edge has slowly disappeared, since even crypto casinos are now being required to implement KYC.
