Meme coins was  never meant to be hold for long term, rather when you buy them and they pump you sell them and take profits, because if you buy them and hold them for long without selling when they rise and they dump all your money is gone. Meme coins are not like bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies they pump and dump projects so be wise and sell when they rise to avoid stories that touches the heart. And In case you are looking for a coin that you will hold for long term you buy bitcoin consistently until you accumulate a good portion of it and hold for long term four to ten years or longer in other to make reasonable profit in return.

What about Doge? If I remember correctly Doge was created in 2013 and is currently one of the top 10 coins in the market. This shows that it is even more reliable than many other potential altcoins.

Or we can also mention Shiba or Floki, both of which are memecoins created in the previous cycle but survived the harshest bear season (2022), and are still alive and thriving today. Especially Floki is creating their own ecosystem, their own app as they just launched their game Valhalla which took them 3 years to build.

Most memes aren't designed to be held long term but like altcoins, not all of them are scams, useless or will disappear anytime soon. Some of them are also worth considering for long-term holding rather than altcoins
