This is quite funny. Deflecting and shifting blames which should be placed on the manager when he team is not doing well to a player? How is this not the lowest of the lowest comments?! Manchester City and Pep Guardiola fans will not seize to amaze me. For your information, KDB barely played a game last season,  what will your comment be now for the terrible season City had? Will you shift blames on Jack Grealish now?! Imo, Pep Guardiola is done! He's currently in his Jose Mourinho era!

The team consists of 11 players, each having some responsibility on the good or bad performance displayed by the team. Allocating blame to a single player for a team woes is downright unfair. Ridiculous even. All players would share in the glory or in the failure of the team. I mean, that's why they're a team.
Perhaps Pep's time to reign at Manchester city is gradually coming to an end. He has had an amazing run with the club, winning the league title back to back. A very impressive record if I may add.
It's ridiculous to blame only one player, especially if the coach is a world-class coach like Pep Guardiola. This is the same as saying Pep Guardiola is a bad coach who relies solely on one player. When that player is injured throughout the season he has no other options to overcome it resulting in City's slump. Do we doubt Pep Guardiola's genius? I'm sure not.

This is simply a matter of era, as you said. Perhaps Pep's era is coming to an end, perhaps his strategy is outdated, or his strategy is easily read by opponents, or perhaps his strategy has no further improvement which is making Man City doubtful this season. Why can we say this is a matter of era? During Pep's glory days, even fielding a reserve lineup could win easily. But when the glory days begin to fade, even with the best squad Pep will struggle to win.
