Yes it is true, one can be wealthy without attracting much public attention. So I believe the best way for one to be saved and secure is to live a very simple and private life. There are lots of people who has endangered there life just because they want people to notice that they are wealthy and also because they want others to look highly at them without knowing the risk or the implications. There are people that can't really do without social media, so whenever they acquired fame they will rush  to social media to announce it without knowing the negative effects. It is not everything that one really needs to make public, keeping some information to ourselves will definitely save us from being attacked by criminal and other negative elements

Criminals are always looking for people who have money that can be looted in different ways. If you expose your real wealth online then you are volunteering yourself as a potential target for criminals. There is an incident in London where Belgian Barber was kidnapped after he posted online about a crypto fortune which he didn't actually have. Such fake news can also take you to trouble. Never post anything that tells how much money you have and take measures like hidding details of your crypto wallet.

Funny. Many people who flaunt bitcoin online are not really rich as people think. Some of them just started their bitcoin journey which is yet to yield good results. Some too are merely DCAing with very small amount of money and are only trying too feel important by flaunting bitcoin online. No one should feel pressured by them, such acts are not 'Bitcoin-like'.

But that is the main thing, they wanted to look rich in front of their followers and subscribers, so I will say that it's about normal for those so called social media influencer to act like that. Like they have the riches and money because of crypto.

And not just in this bull run, even in 2021, I remember a lot of young white people (no offense here), but it's clearly they have cars and money being shown by team in their account and they say it's because of ETH. But when the bear market comes, almost all of them are gone. And now that we are in the bull run again, this social influencer are coming back. But it's different as they are now a target by criminals.
Those who claim to be mentors, influencers and ambassadors of Bitcoin are a real menace on social media. They are the reasons newbie investors give themselves short term expectations of Bitcoin and call Bitcoin a scam when these expectations are not met. I just wish the crypto community on social media can be regulated because of the numerous misleading information from both Bitcoin enthusiasts and critics of Bitcoin who either tell lies about Bitcoin or give over exaggerated information just to excite clueless people.  Well, it's impossible for the crypto space on social media to be regulated. So, each and everyone of us who know the truth about Bitcoin should not fail to give honest replies to those who come to us for help.
