Perhaps the loss of Kevin De Bruyne is one of the reasons for Manchester City's decline in performance.
The player hasn't looked like a key player after a long injury layoff, but he's nonetheless a key player who consistently supports Erling Haaland in scoring the winning goals in every match.
What's happening now is really just about getting the right players to achieve more consistent performance.

No, it's not down to Kevin De Bruyne. It's the coach and the management of the club. The way Manchester United plays is different from the way they played previously. They don't press efficiently, and they don't create a lot of chances like they used to. This is the fault of the coach. No matter the kind of players a team has, they way they play is down to the coach.

When you also look at the way they do business, you will know that the management of the club has a hand in the decline. They had no reason to have players like Doku and Savinho as their starting players. They should have gotten better wingers who can create chances easily. They panicked, signed Nico in January when they knew they might not use him, now they've sent him on loan.
You see a player like Wirtz, who is the perfect replacement for KDB, but they didn't sign him, they allowed him go to Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola is done! He's currently in his Jose Mourinho era!

People say Pep is done, but I don't agree. He is going through a rough stage.
The difference between Pep and Mourinho is that they can adapt and change their system and get better. Mourinho is admant on his system eve though its not working, that's why he keeps getting sacked. All pep needs to finished the season with City without getting sacked and then take a sabbatical. If he takes a break before coaching again, he might get better.
