I honestly don't know why they're giving PSG and Barcelona lower odds than Real Madrid. I know some people might be less optimistic about Real Madrid's new coach, but for those who watch Real Madrid's games, you can see they're playing well, they've had a good defense, and they're still testing their attacking skills to determine who should start. Even so, I see Real Madrid going further than Barcelona and PSG.
I know you might say I'm exaggerating, but if you look at last season, you'll see that PSG, even at their peak last season, didn't have a good run in the European Champions League. They were lucky that the new format allowed them to reach the final. They lost some games. As for Barcelona, their weak defense will prevent them from going far.
This confused me as well. Like what made them think that Real Madrid has a lesser chance than Barcelona when it comes to UCL? That doesn't really sound like a good idea to me at all, and feels like it might be an issue.
Because overall I believe the best way to move forward looks like Real Madrid doing a lot better and should not be a problem at all. I understand this is a great deal of work, and they do a lot of calculations to get these results, I respect the work that goes into making these, but for this time it makes no sense. However, that is good for us because if we bet on Real Madrid then that means they have better odds right now and better paying ones too so we are going to make a lot of money if we are right and Real Madrid wins.
