It was not the best game to watch, it was scrappy, but at least we got the three points. On to the next one, which is a crucial game against South Africa on Tuesday, our manager Eric Chelle has to do something differently in that game if we are to stand a chance of beating South Africa in their home. Remember that South Africa played a home game yesterday, so no travelling for them, and they have a day more to rest, while we have to recover, then travel to South Africa for the game, all in the space of two days.
Victor Osimhen also went out injured, so i am not sure if he would be fit for Tuesday's game, i hope he is. If we beat South Africa, then our hope will be up in the roof. Congratulations to the Super Eagles on this victory.
I got bored at some point that I didn't even bother finishing the second half. Where is the quality in super eagles?. I overheard the commentator saying that Rwanda isn't afraid of the super eagles, which has never being so in our history, especially from the old eras. I can't deny the fact that there was some level of individual brilliance in the game today, but individual brilliance doesn't win you trophies. Everyone needs to play together as a team. And if we want to defeat the South African sides that are currently sitting at the top of the table, we need to put in more efforts than we did today.
And as for Oshimen, he didn't even get a proper link up in the game today. That little knock seems a bit minor, but I doubt if his club side would allow him continue. You know how these clubs behaves. They don't mess around with their best players especially when it comes to leaving them in the hands of their International sides.
