It's true that gambling has helped gambler's who were lucky and fortunate as they have won millions which has changed the cause of their life's but one thing that we should not forget is that gambling has a lot of negative effects that is attached to it, so people should look beyond gambling if they are to have a successful life.

Gambling doesn't stop you from having a successful life, there are many successful people that are still gamblers. We owe it to ourselves to be mindful of how we navigate our life, some decisions we take shouldn't be taken because they can be harmful to us but don't think that just because you're gambling that automatically, you aren't going to have a successful life. A vast majority are gambling with a wrong mindset because all they're after is the quick money that gambling promises but they don't get to see it, instead they're the ones losing but since they're now addicted, it becomes difficult to stop.
The problem is they associate gambling with addiction by default but it is still possible for one to gamble without being addicted, yes it is entertainment but we can't deny the money factor involved in it but it doesn't mean the one who gambles thinks that gambling is a way of making easy money.

Banning has more bad consequences than good, it will force the existing players to look for places that are not regulated where they might feel less secure to KYC and other things.
