It was not the best game to watch, it was scrappy, but at least we got the three points. On to the next one, which is a crucial game against South Africa on Tuesday, our manager Eric Chelle has to do something differently in that game if we are to stand a chance of beating South Africa in their home. Remember that South Africa played a home game yesterday, so no travelling for them, and they have a day more to rest, while we have to recover, then travel to South Africa for the game, all in the space of two days.

Victor Osimhen also went out injured, so i am not sure if he would be fit for Tuesday's game, i hope he is. If we beat South Africa, then our hope will be up in the roof. Congratulations to the Super Eagles on this victory.

Nigeria's situation is really not easy. When these games started, I had high expectations that Nigeria would qualify very easily because in this group, Nigeria is the national team that has players with high skills and who are very important in the big teams in Europe. It makes no sense that Nigeria is in this current position and counting on luck.

If South Africa wins the next game and Nigeria loses, then it's all over for Nigeria, and if South Africa loses and Nigeria wins, but after the next game Nigeria loses and South Africa wins, then it's all over for Nigeria, honestly only a miracle would save Nigeria, that miracle would have to be South Africa losing the next 2 games
