It appears the the officious martinets at the Bitcoin Foundation subscribe to the concept "Spiral of Silence" laid out by Elisabeth Noelle-Neumann. This is what led to the failure of their organization to address the MTGox fiasco before and after it's fall from grace.
If you remember, Marie Karpeles was a board member of the Bitcoin Foundation and the officious martinet of MTGox. Now we hear that a new board member may bring MTGox back to the foundation. Is this a Marie Karpeles redux?

The "Spiral of Silence" at the Bitcoin Foundation has left the majority of the 1500 members deaf, dumb and blind. Essentially sheep waiting to be fleeced.
