Public schools are absolutely horrendous evil environments for kids. Public schools are fucking violent. Parents that send their kids to public schools need to reconsider their bad decisions in life. THERE IS NO FUCKING EXCUSE!

Public schools are cheaper. In my country, you would have to be rich to send your children to any good private school. Except you want to arrange for homeschooling, which might require either the wife or husband to stop working. Public schools might not be the best, but that's the only option some poor or moderate families have. But the parents have the responsibility of monitoring the topics or curriculum the children are exposed to. They need to redirect these children if the schools are deviating from acceptable beliefs or ideologies.

Just that most time there are limitations of public schools While public schools might have limitations, they can still provide a foundation for education and socialization. Parents can work with teachers and administrators to address concerns and improve the educational experience.

You're right if you don't see any improvement from your child is your duty as a parent to walk down to the school to address them regarding that aspect, if teachers is the case then you have every right to ask them to bring more capable and well learned people because I noticed that teachers is also one of the challenges that most of this public schools are having, they can decide to bring secondary school cert to teach in public schools though most of them is well learned than most of this people who are claiming to be in higher level. But sometimes before criticizing public schools you also need to examine your child very well if he or she is that type of children that easily catch up with things, to know where the fault is coming from.
