that's not how load balancing works. load balancing is done on the server side, so you don't need mirror sites with different domain names for that... mirror sites are mainly for accessibility in case the main domain is taken down, not working properly, or to circumvent ISP/geo blocks.
Well said. Mirror links aren't related to load balancing at all and are primarily meant to help gamblers access their site in countries where the government banned the main link which is a lot better than relying on VPNs.

I agree it's not about load balancing, there could be many reasons, like what you mentioned, bypassing restrictions by certain region. So players can still play and log in if the main set is being blocked by their countries.
And this could be one in the gray area, there could be sites not just in gambling platform, but in any other services that the a certain authorities might shut down, so at least they have a good back up plan by having this mirror sites at hand.
