Hi everyone,
I'm new to Bitcoin and trying to build a solid long-term portfolio; I’d really appreciate a simple roadmap or checklist from more experienced members. What steps should a beginner follow to get started ? Should I focus on buying and holding BTC only or mix in other assets/tokens, and how do I decide allocation and risk management as a newbie?
Welcome to the Bitcoin Forum. If you want to build an investment portfolio from scratch and if you have enough sources of income, then of course you can start your investment portfolio. But as a newbie, I want to tell you to keep Bitcoin in your investment and not any other shitcoin/meme coin other than Bitcoin because you can expect to achieve success in long-term preservation of Bitcoin, but if you keep shitcoin/memecoin in your investment portfolio, then I don't know if you will be successful in long-term investment. It will be very important for you to only hold BTC but you can start from now if you want because there is still plenty of time to buy Bitcoin.
But lastly I want to tell you that you have to keep your wallet safe as much as possible. If you cannot keep your wallet safe, your investment will be very risky. You can lose your investment at any time. So whatever you do, it is important to keep your wallet very safe and secure. This should always be remembered.
