They messed up by by selling most of there key players but I want to ask which players were they having in mind do the job for them when they have already finish spoiling things from themselves, the worst of it all was the decision they took by hiring Eric Ten Hag, this made me believe that they weren't being strategic in actions, how would they do such, who advise them to hire a manager that was sacked for a well known lapses which is everyone can attest to manage a club that has sold all their quality players, this is funny, was Leverkusen expecting Eric Ten Hag that we know to perform miracle when they already know that even if it is possible for miracle to take place, Eric Ten Hag will not be the man for that role.
They were waiting for the coach to perform magic overnight on the players, lol. The sold their main players during the transfer window without suitable replacement for them and all of a sudden they want results. I wouldn't blame Ten Hang entirely because his new and also has players who are new to the team as well, no clear understanding between both players and coach which I think he would have been given a little more time at least to try and sort things out.
