Unfortunately I am not among the everyone that expected that Manchester City will return to their best from this season. I know that Manchester City is not going to win the English Premier League again at least for the next three consecutive seasons.
There is time for everything and they used their time very well to make record in the English Premier League but I am sorry to say there are time has gone. When the won the Champions League, Premier League consecutively and dominated, they felt arrived and began to sell their important players thereby distabilizing their team. So it will take another long time to rebuild
Manchester City are seriously in a bad shape at the moment and i also think of things do not change that they will struggle to get back to the top in a short period of time but ruling them out from winning the championship in the next three years is definitely too exaggerating for me. In as much as I enjoyed them been back to Chasing top four I can say they are not that bad that it will take more than three seasons to rebuild the team. If we are been honest they still have the best players in the world in some certain positions and with the right players coming to the team they could easily just get back in form.
But the emphasis is on the right players because signing just any other players wouldn’t work. This is the exact spot Manchester United found themselves in right after Ferguson retired and most of the players left they were eager to get back to the top and made numerous mistakes through signing replacements and this is why they are still at rebuilding stage twelve years apart, if Manchester City also do not get it right in two or three seasons it will only get worse for them
