I saw a very convincing Italy, it's been a long time since we saw a team win with such a high number of goals as they did yesterday, mostly they were all headed, which is very strange for Italy, however yesterday we saw a team that fought hard and made themselves respected, I'm proud of these guys, this is the right path to go to the World Cup

Yes, yesterday I really liked Italy's lineup. Once again, I have to change my mind about Gattuso. I never thought he could create such a cohesive group.
This certainly underlines the fact that Spalletti didn't understand much during his time as Italy coach.

Gattuso should be given time to build this Italian team and take it back to the glory days of Italian football but for now Gattuso main aim should be trying to qualify Italy to the world cup in the United States of America next year.

In my opinion Gattuso doesn't really have to "build the team" because we know who the players are, what he's probably trying to do is to make them understand that they represent Italy and they must give 110%. Lately you could see how the team lost intensity and they were not really fighting. The main problem is not the players, it's the mentality, and Gattuso is an ok manager but a great motivator so he could actually do good things. Let's see what happens in a few days against Israel, which is a way better team than Estonia.
