Though the thread might have said it isn’t too far off for Bitcoin to serve as legal tender, siting an example with El-Salvador, well I think we aren’t there yet or close to having Bitcoin serve as a legal tender.

Majority of the people who own Bitcoin today do see it for its investment benefits, the whales and today we see government using it for its national reserves. That’s to tell you the value that is expected of Bitcoin because as it is, there isn’t enough Bitcoin for the rest of the world to use in terms of value and as such, we are still far away from it serving as a legal tender.
Governments are far from making Bitcoin legal tender globally and even if they want to try with Bitcoin legal tender, the actual acceptance and usage in societies would be something different that is not controlled by governments. It's natural and social selection and people as citizens of a nation and in the world have freedom to make their choices and decisions.

In my opinion it is too unrealistic for global Bitcoin legal tender to go into effects and actually used by all people and companies on this planet. Bitcoin adoption will grow up more, exponentialy too but I disbelive in any future with Global Bitcoin Legal Tender.
