I won't accept that it was the caliber of players at Inter Milan that made PSG to easily defeat Inter Milan in the Uefa champions league final last season because that same set of players at Inter Milan defeated quite a lot of strong clubs in the Uefa Champions league to set up a final with PSG. In my opinion, it was the tactics Inter Milan used against PSG that exposed Inter Milan's weakness, and PSG capitalized on that and punished Inter Milan.
Inter Milan employed different tactics and strategies against PSG, and the style of play employed by Inter Milan's coach proved too predictable for Luis Enrique. The problems began when PSG scored early, causing Inter Milan to lose focus and continue playing at an uncharacteristic level, ultimately costing them. Inter Milan's usual strategy is more defensive when facing strong teams and relying on counterattacks, but in this match, the Inter Milan coach employed a completely different and ineffective strategy.
