Al Hilal always gave the impression to be a better built team compared to the other ones. The don't have any real superstar but they have many extremely good players in all roles. Al Nassr is all about Ronaldo, and this is both a blessing and a curse. I also like a lot Al Ahli because despite the limited amount of foreign players they obtain excellent results. To be honest at the end the most disappointing team has been Al Nassr, everybody were expecting them to win everything and they ended up with nothing.
Just can't stop laughing about your statement that getting Cristiano Ronaldo was a blessing and a curse to Al Nassr. The Portuguese have contributed greatly to the club but he has not led them to win the Saudi Professional League. Maybe your assumption that he is also a curse is out of his domineering nature. He wants to dictate how the club is run and the huge wage he earns. But it seems Al Nassr is comfortable with him, that was why his contract was extended. Al-Nassr is currently topping the League after one game due to a five-goal advantage. Let's hope they continue because Al-Ittihad Club and Al Hilal SFC are strong contenders.
Yes, although it is true that until now Ronaldo has not been able to provide a very prestigious trophy for Al Nasr, but I don't think it should be blamed unilaterally. Because basically, as we know until now, Ronaldo has always played very well and always scored goals for Al Nasr. But the problem is Al Nasr's defense is very bad and that is what makes Al Nasr very difficult to be able to win in any competition they participate in. Besides, calling Ronaldo's arrival at Al Nasr a blessing and a curse, I think that assumption is a bit too inaccurate. Because basically what curse Ronaldo brought to Al Nasr, I don't think there is one.
In fact, with the arrival of Ronaldo to Al Nasr, this team has become very popular in the world and even the Saudi Arabian League is also updated with Ronaldo's arrival at Al Nasr. So with that, I think there is only a blessing that Ronaldo brought to Al Nasr and also to the Saudi Arabian League. And if you compare Al Nasr to other major teams in the Saudi Arabian League, I agree that teams like Al Ittihad and Al Hilal have quite solid squads overall. So it's no wonder they consistently win trophies. However, I'm confident that Al Nasr can also win at least one trophy this season, as they seem to be experiencing a slight upturn in performance.
