They won't have any regrets for losing such amount if it happens that they didn't own the money.
This is the effect of abuse and greed and to bad that other people will suffer due to those grievous act they made.
I don't know how the government will react unto this latest findings but let see if this greedy engineers or officials will get penalize with their blatant abuse made. Since if they are backed with more powerful corrupt official then I guess there's nothing will happen in this case.
They will be penalized for sure since all the evidence could point them out. But the real question is, will the mastermind of this corruption be penalized as well? I think they should be the ones to get the bigger punishment, because these officials wouldn’t have the confidence to steal if they thought the higher-ups were actually watching them.
So for me it looks more like a syndicate, and everyone in that group should be punished.
