Amorim has been able to tackle the problem of the attack though they still haven't done any significant thing in the game because the team is performing well up front but no goals to show for it but the defense line needs a serious work because the team can't be conceding cheap goals when they are still still finding it difficult to score even against weak opponents.
Manchester United are still in a shaky position. Although they have strengthened their attack a bit, their defence is very weak. The defenders have been inconsistent in their performances, and the goalkeeper has been poor. I would have been happy if Manchester United had been able to complete the deal with Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez. Martinez is one of the best goalkeepers of the moment. But Manchester United have spent 21 million on Senne Lemmens. There is no reason to think that Lemmens is a more experienced goalkeeper than Bayindir or Onana. Manchester United needed a talented and experienced goalkeeper. I would say that buying Lemmens is another bad decision for Manchester United this season.
