Alex should have won the Sprint Race and Main Race but too bad he crashed yesterday while he was leading when there were few laps only.
He did not repeat the mistake and ride consistently today in the main race which made his brother unable to overtake him back.
Marc admit that his young brother is much faster than him in this Catalan GP, he was lucky to win the sprint race yesterday due to Alex's crash.
This result also make Marc has no title chance in the San Marino next weekend which is something good for the overall MotoGP competition.
I also think so, because if the world championship could be decided early by one rider, it would certainly make the MotoGP competition less exciting, as it would likely reduce the audience and reduce the curiosity of seeing who would win. Furthermore, Marquez himself doesn't need to win again if he wants to aim for the world championship this season. He only needs to finish second or at least on the podium in every race until the end of the season. With Marquez's current points lead, no rider will be able to catch him unless Marquez crashes and loses points in the remaining races.
