Wonder if Ferrari should take this chance, to give Hamilton brand new everyone, so that he can take the hit and the penalty right away, and get a terrible result at Monza. That sounds like a good decision because getting that some other time would have made it a lot worse, because it is obvious he is not going to win here, his entire race would be about going from 20th place to top 10, and that would be enough, even at 10th place. Aside from that, I do not see him do a any worse, he already has a grid penalty, they should take advantage of it.

Some other race where he is better, would not be a good race for him to take that chance, and if they need a new engine or something, or ERS or gearbox or whatever, and get a grid penalty again, it would hurt more than this.
