The target was big, but Sri Lanka easily reached the target. We did not see any good bowling from any of the Zimbabwean bowlers. We saw decent batting from the two openers Mendis and Nissanka. However, the most excellent innings was played by Kamil Mishara. Mishara scored 73 runs from 43 balls. This is the highest score today. Besides, Kusal Perera scored 46 runs from 26 balls. A moment of relief for Sri Lanka after winning the third T20I and also the series. I wrote earlier that Zimbabwe has won second T20I but there chances of winning the series is low. Zimbabwe has done a good job by winning the second T20I and that shows they have the capability to play T20 format. Even in today's game, Zimbabwe posed a fighting total of 191 runs but there bowlers failed miserably in defending the target. Sri Lankans were well prepared for third T20I and they chased the target quite easily with 14 balls to spare.
Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka played 3rd T20 where Sri Lanka won the game by chasing the target of 191 runs. Zimbabwe opened the innings with Brian and Tadiwanashe with a 26 runs partnership then every player contributed runs of his part. The top and middle order played very nicely scoring great runs. Sri Lanka's attacking bowlers brought them 8 wickets for a target of 191 runs. Sri Lanka opened their innings with Pathum and kusal who scored a fabulous partnership of 58 runs which was a great step towards victory by Sir Lanka. The one down player Kamil hitted 9 boundaries scoring 73 runs alone making the chase easy. Zimbabwe bowlers tried hard to eliminate batsmen but their struggled ended as dissappointment. Sri Lanka chased the target and won the game by 8 wickets.
