I don’t understand why you actually said you felt sorry for him at the moment because anyone that has actually watched Onana for the past two seasons now would definitely not be surprised why he is moving to this club, he has fallen down the picking order to been third ranked goalkeeper at the club which if wishes to still have a career he must not accept and sit on the bench. For me he did well by actually accepting this deal because he seriously needs to have more playing time and less pressure off himself. But no one should actually feel bad about him like Manchester United did something bad to me he was seriously giving more time to improve and he also knows that.
Right now Marcus Rashford is not doing anything good like his didn't even make any sense in Barca jersey, and because of this Hansi Flick warned him that if he didn't improve his performance level then he would be sent to the bench for the rest of the season. Barcelona signed him to boost team performance, but unfortunately Marcus Rashford has not shown any improvement. So maybe Barcelona will just keep him until the loan ends and then send him back to Manchester United.
Marcus Rashford needs to improve his performance because Barcelona wants a player who can contribute to the team in a better way, and if he doesn't complete this criterion, they will kick him out of the team.
If I say i am actually surprised about all this happening with Rashford and Barcelona I will be lying, for me he made the wrong choice because he needed lots of game time to have himself back to form and therefore coming into a team that already has its starting position all occupied is a bad choice. Not that if given more chance I don’t expect him to excel. The talent is there and I seriously don’t that but this Barcelona team is already packed compact that it will be seriously not easy for him to get into it,
