Romeu had been at Barcelona since July 19, 2023, signing from Girona. However, throughout his career, he was loaned to other clubs. He is now without a club at the age of 33.

At 33? Well at 33 it is not surprising that the club has decided to terminate his contract, not even that he was at the club during the season and playing but was loaned.
